The ACP Science and Technology Programme (ACP S&T) is an ACP-EU co-operation programme in the field of science and technology. It is funded by the European Union (from the 9th European Development Fund and the European Union’s General Budget BL 21.031700) and implemented by the ACP Secretariat.
The Programme shall contribute to achieving the Millennium Development Goals 1, 7 and 8 by targeting poverty eradication, focusing on building and enhancing strong scientific and technological capacity to support research, development and innovation in the ACP (African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States) region, and enabling the identification and formulation of activities or policies that are critical to sustainable development.
